It’s more than just a bucket. One low fee covers everything you need – the container, shipping to the recycling center, recycling charges, and a certificate of recycling.

  • Holds up to 55 lbs of dry cell batteries.
  • Each UN certified container comes with a Life Latch® lid, a poly liner, tie, instructions, terms & conditions, and a pre-paid FedEx return shipping label. Tape for covering battery terminals per DOT regulations also included.
  • Access exclusive online features including recycling reports, container tracking, and certificates of recycling.
  • Only sold in the United States. Not available in Alaska, Hawaii, Maine, or Puerto Rico.
  • Bucket size: 3.5 gallons
Note: Various types of dry cell batteries include alkaline, nickel, cadmium, lithium, nickel metal hydride, iron, zinc carbon, and silver, as well as AA, AAA, C, D, and 9-volt.

Here's how it works:

  1. Order as many containers as you need for your facility. The more you buy, the more you save!
  2. The EasyPak™ containers will be shipped to you with a return shipping label to the recycling facility and instructions.
  3. Once the container is full, seal the lid on the bucket, place the bucket within the original box, tape the box closed, fill out the supplied shipping label with your organization's name and address, and attach your pre-paid FedEx shipping label to the box.
  4. Ship the container via FedEx Ground to the recycling facility for processing.

This is a great way to save all those used and unwanted batteries from the landfill. It's so easy to use. I put this in our tech room and everyone dumped their used tool batteries inside. The only way it could be easier would be to make the return process simpler. After a year, I had no idea where the original box was to return the tub. I had to order a new container anyway, so I used the box from that one to return the full one. Tub is quite heavy and a bit ackward to manuever once it's full.
