Ballast BucketContainer Loading Instructions:

  1. Remove the plastic container from the box. SAVE THE BOX and container lid for return shipment. The return shipper will not accept the container by itself.
  2. Write the “Accumulation Start Date” in the box above with permanent marker (date when the first lamp is placed in the bucket). Ship the container within one year from the start date to comply with regulations.
  3. Place plastic liner (included) into the EasyPak container.
  4. Carefully fill the plastic container with used ballasts. Do not exceed 55 lbs.
  5. When container is filled, seal the plastic liner with the provided cable tie (inside plastic envelope).
  6. Replace the lid on the plastic container and seal tightly. Replace the container in box and seal edges securely with 2” packaging tape.

Shipping Instructions:

  1. Remove return shipment label in the envelope attached to box.
  2. Fill in Generator Name (Company) and a site contact name, followed by address, city, state, and zip code. Next to RA# put phone number of generator site contact.
  3. Place label on the side of the box.
  4. Make sure box is sealed on all open edges and any holes or tears are covered.
  5. Record the return shipment tracking number for you reference.
